This is THAT!

The Hungry And Thirsty is a faith-based organization on a mission to impact the lives of youth and young adults in Frankfort and the surrounding areas. Our vision is clear—to ignite hope, breathe life, and instill purpose in the hearts of young individuals. Rooted on the words of Jesus found in Matthew 5:6, we strive to nurture a vibrant community of young people who hunger to know the Lord and passionately share their faith in Jesus Christ with their generation.

The Hungry And Thirsty is a movement. This generation of young people is not a lost generation. They are a chosen generation. They are The Hungry And Thirsty generation.  Many young people everywhere are coming to the Lord and finding peace, hope, and purpose. THAT is a move of God. THAT movement is not limited to Central Kentucky. We are here, as a part of this community, to provide guidance and support to the young people in our area whose hearts the Lord is drawing

The Hungry and Thirsty is a network of young people who are forming relationships around their shared faith in Jesus Christ. THAT is not a church, nor is it affiliated with a specific church or denomination. We are connecting youth from several local churches. We are uniting students from all of Frankfort's high schools, local homeschool students and students from surrounding cities. College students from several colleges, including Kentucky State University, UK, Kentucky Christian University, Murray State University, Midway College, and Berea College area also a part of the growing THAT community.

The Hungry And Thirsty is a tool that God is using to reach a generation he loves. It is a tool that young people can take advantage of to grow in their relationship with God. We provide a space and resources for them to seek the Lord for themselves.

The Hungry And Thirsty is a platform that youth and young adults can use to express their faith in real, tangible, and practical ways. It is a platform the supports the development and positive expression of their various gifts and talents.

Our Founders: Eric and Tuesday Lemon

Raising four boys in Frankfort, Eric and Tuesday Lemon are currently guiding them through their youth and young adult years. They have firsthand experience observing the challenges that young people encounter. Disturbed by the alarming statistics—such as suicide being the second leading cause of death among Kentuckians ages 10-34—God moved upon them to take action. The Lemons began THAT on August 13th, 2023, sharing their vision to a small group of young people in their living room.

Eric is passionate about teaching and preaching the Word of God. He has been a licensed and ordained minister since 2010 and has shared the Gospel through Christian rap as J-Heir for over two decades. Eric currently serves as the Media Supervisor at Faith Victory Church. In addition to ministry, he enjoys expressing his creativity through photography and videography via his business, J-Heir Creations.

Tuesday has always had a heart for children. Naturally gifted in working with them, her gift has been further developed through her journey as a mother. She has faithfully served in children’s ministry at her local church for many years. Since 2016, she has been impacting the lives of young people as a staff member in the Franklin County Public School system. Tuesday also serves on the Board of Directors for the Wanda Joyce Robinson Foundation, a nonprofit supporting families and children affected by incarceration.

The Lemons are faithful and active members of their local church. Together, they also minister to high school and college student-athletes through the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
